Where do our ideas come from?

Some of our ideas get activated from something that we have seen or heard from those around us. We sometimes get inspired by what others have done or achieved therefore it could be said some of our thoughts are a result of these experiences from outside of ourselves. There are also ideas that just come into our head that are not activated by what we have just experienced; they just seem to come from nowhere. However; once we have an idea we can legitimately claim it as our own. I.e. “I just had a great idea.” Many people do not look any deeper into the origins of their thoughts and where their ideas come from.

It is a common understanding amongst inventors that once they have a great idea for an invention that they have to act on it as quick as they can. This is because they know that it is highly likely that there will be other inventors working on the same idea. How can this be if the idea just happened to come into their head and it was an idea of their own creative thinking process? An isolated idea that no one else had! It seems that isolated ideas are not as isolated as we might think.

If several people are coming up with the same idea at the same time then it may be because of transference between minds which science has shown to be able to happen. There is another possibility! Some, if not many, of these ideas are streaming in from a higher consciousness. This consciousness is outside our realm of consciousness. This information continuously flows in and only those whose antennas are tuned in have the ability to receive it.

If this is the case then it means that not all of our ideas are necessarily of our own making. The human race keeps on evolving and its knowledge and understanding of life is rapidly expanding. One of the main ways that this happens is through new ideas about ourselves and our universe along with everything in it. The next time that you have a great idea, stop and ask yourself; “Where did that idea come from?” If it seemed to just pop into your head then it may have come from the higher realms beyond and it is not yours alone!

Social Media - For the common good

It has been obvious for some time that Social Media is on the rise so there is nothing new there. It always had the potential to have a great impact on the way we communicate and the speed in which we can share information. The use of smart phones with their rapidly increasing  the high tech / high quality cameras are capturing so much information in real time and communicating it around the world almost as quick as it is occurring.

The way human consciousness is being affected by this phenomenon may not be eye opening for those savvy participators, however; there are many of us who did not appreciate its potential in sharing information, ideas and people’s perceptions on topical subjects.  As with all things there is a positive and negative side to everything and in this case; both have a very powerful impact.

I would like to comment on a very positive effect that the social media is having. It is the ability to bring people together in great numbers for a very positive common cause. Much larger numbers of people are gathering to share and express their love based compassion and emotions at such short notice. This has been very noticeable after the recent terrorist attacks around the world. Probably the greatest was after the recent terrorist attacks in France. The aftermath could have triggered revenge and cries for retaliation. Instead; we witnessed a mass march for peace. This march had a huge positive impact on the rest of the world.

It would not have been possible to amass such numbers through the normal media because the media moguls tend to demand a sensationalised reporting of the event. This often triggers (intentionally of otherwise) anger – not love and compassion. Even the organisations related to peace could not organise such a response in such a short time. It is amazing as much as it is exciting to see the positive effects of the social media.

T

The feedback loop

How do you attain financial or spiritual wealth and gain greater control of your life. Maybe you are after happiness, better health or relationships. You will inspire and influence others if you attain some or all of these goals. How do you get there? One of the ways is by understanding how to monitor the effects of your subconscious thought patterns.

We all have an inbuilt self-monitoring system that will tell us how positive and negative our ‘subconscious thoughts’ are. It is a tool that we can use to help us shake off the Karmic patterns that hold our spiritual evolution back. There are two fundamental factors that contribute to raising our vibrations. The first is the most popular and that is by becoming more positively aware and being more loving of ourselves and others. The other is shaking the ‘negative monkey off our back’ by healing the negativity and Karmic patterns of our life. This Article is about dealing with the monkey!
Dealing with Negative information
One way is to understand that our belief systems are generating the negative thoughts. We are not our Belief systems so therefore we do not need to identify our self worth by what we believe. Most of our ‘core beliefs’ are downloaded into our long term memory before we are four years old. This is before the age when we have the ability to reason. Therefore we have taken other people’s beliefs on and identified them as ours. Nothing is further from the truth; they are not ours so we do not need to feel guilty or a lesser person just because we have negative and faulty beliefs. It is paramount to realise that who we think we are, our perceptions and judgements about right and wrong come from the beliefs held in the long term memory. We are free to identify with them and claim them as our own but we can also realise that we are not our beliefs.
Do any of your beliefs cause confusion, conflict or pain? If they do then they do not serve your higher good. The highest truths will always have clarity and create harmony, balance and inner peace. We all need to clean out the closet containing unwanted beliefs.

Capitalising on the ‘feedback loop’

We know that we are all creating subconscious negative thought patterns that come back to us. We also know that if they cause us any emotional pain, they must be reflecting a negative within us. Karmic freedom comes by monitoring our reaction to the incoming information and then capitalising on what it is showing us. There are two stages to our reactions. The first is the initial spontaneous uncontrolled response. I.e. anger or hurt. The second is the controlled response which cuts in once we have had time to consciously process how we want to respond. The clue to our subconscious negative belief and its karma lies in the first response! This comes from our survival mode which is an automatic reaction that comes from our beliefs and perceptions. If the responses of the first and second stages are the same then it means that our subconscious and conscious thought patterns are the same.

The first response often happens so quickly that we usually miss it because we have trained our self to suppress it. We need to practise becoming aware of it. The second response is the one that most people are familiar with and it often has more to do with how we want to be or be seen. It does not necessarily correspond to our deeper negative truth. We can utilise this ‘feedback loop’ by self monitoring our initial response to uncover our hidden negative beliefs. It is very helpful to remember that we are not our beliefs so we don’t need to feel bad about having them.
Feeling guilty or a lesser person because of our negatives gives them power over us. We need to own them but not identify our self worth by them. Our spiritual freedom comes with rising above them and not fearing or suppressing them. As I have pointed out in previous articles; Beliefs can be changed!

Integrating the understanding of the feedback loop is very important you want to attain financial or spiritual wealth and gain greater control of your life, happiness, better health or relationships. You will have an effect on others by inspiring and influencing them if you attain some or all of these goals.

Exercise - How to change your thought patterns

If you want to gain greater control of your life, have spiritual and financial wealth, happiness, better relationships and health thus inspire and influence others then being able to change your thought patterns is an essential tool.

This exercise is about changing an old unwanted belief (perception) into a desired new one.  It is best to do this exercise on a minor issue first because the old negative will be easier to erase from your Long Term Memory. Try to find a negative thought pattern that is not too much of a problem for you. When you have success on a small issue then you are more likely to have the confidence that this exercise will actually work for you.

The more charge that you have on a problem; the more it will be embedded in your Long Term Memory therefore; more effort or energy will be required to change it.

What happens in the brain during this reprogramming process?
Remember that the original or core belief is like the soft ware in a computer. If you remove the software; the computer will have nothing to process the new incoming against. Therefore we need to keep the original information. However; we can remove all the information that is associated to it. The core belief by itself does not have the same power without all the other associated experiences that have been added to its energy over time. If we remove the associated experiences and their contributing energy then we will find that the core belief is a whole lot easier to manage or control.

We have always had the ability to suppress thoughts that cause us emotional pain. Many of us, particularly males, were trained to be brave and emotionally tough. We did this by learning to suppress any emotions that were perceived to be weak, including crying and being timid. We are all masters at suppressing and we can suppress emotion or memory to the point where we are not conscious of them anymore. However, as was stated; although they are hidden in the subconscious they are still energy and generating thought patterns which create outcomes.

The aim of this exercise is to identify the problem thought patterns and then be prepared to face them head on knowing that you can change them. You no longer need to fear them by avoiding, denying them or suppressing the fear based emotions that they generate. Once you have recognized the negative energy associated with a particular belief then you need to find the opposite positive that you want to have or be. It is very important to think about what positive you want to have before you start step 1.
A lot of effort and emotion needs to go into embedding the new belief. The success of this exercise depends on how committed you are to changing your belief.

Step:

  1. Recognizing the negative emotion. When you allow the negative to live or be real by feeling it or expressing it in a responsible way, you are actually owning and not fearing it. (After all, it is a part of you whether you accept or deny it.) This puts you in charge of your emotion instead of it being in charge of you. …. In other words; the emotion starts to lose its hidden power over you.
  2. Choose a new positive of how you want to think. It needs to be the opposite polarity and power (or intensity) to the negative thought that you are replacing. Imagine how you will be in this new state and Feel the new emotion. Feeling the positive emotion is the key to creating the new belief therefore -         ‘the more you feel the new emotion – the more powerful the change will be’ You can use your imagination to exaggerate your new belief in order to activate more positive emotion and energy. Remember to keep it realistic or believable.
  3. Choose to change. Take control by using your own power and authority:
“I Now Stop thinking (feeling, acting, etc.) like………….” (Feel the negative emotion for 15 seconds or more)
“I now choose to think (feel, act, etc) like………..” (Feel the positive emotion for 15 seconds or more)

Repeat steps 1 – 3 several times – you will notice that after a few times of bringing up the negative, it starts to lose its power over you and it gets a little harder to feel or find as its energy starts to lessen. What happens when you face your fear; you are actually seeing through the illusion that it exists. By avoiding it gives the fear power over you – by facing it gives you power over the fear.
The energy associated with the negative core belief lessens and the energy of the new belief is re-enforced each time you repeat steps 1 to 3.
Remember, the more emotion you activate - the quicker the results.
Eventually the power of the new belief will be stronger that the power of the old belief. Once you get to this point then you will get to a place where you are acting and reacting from the new positive belief that you have instilled in your long term memory
Remember; really feel both the negative and positive emotions each time you re-visit them! - Use stronger imagination if you need to generate a more powerful positive or negative emotion.

How long does it take to override the old negative belief system?
It depends on how strongly or deeply it is embedded in the long term memory, how much you erase it and how much the new positive belief is embedded into your Long Term Memory.
So please remember that if you want to gain greater control of your life, have spiritual and financial wealth, happiness, better relationships and health thus inspire and influence others then being able to change your thought patterns is an essential tool to have. Please do not underestimate the unlimited magnificent power of your mind.

Do you believe in luck?

Do you want to gain greater control of your life, have spiritual and financial wealth, happiness, better relationships and health thus inspire and influence others? If so; you need more than just luck!

Humans generally accept that luck is something that happens and it is created by forces outside of their control.  Sometimes we are lucky and sometimes we are not! Being or feeling lucky usually creates a positive state of mind, whereas; being or feeling unlucky creates a state of negativity. There is not normally too much of a problem with the odd bit of bad luck so long as we can rise above it, let it go and not let it affect us in the longer term. A string of good luck has the ability to ignite a level of confidence that it may continue and if the pattern continues then we have the potential to BELEIVE that it will continue to happen. Thus; a new mind set develops and we start to believe that we are lucky people. The fact that we believe this generates more luck because our thoughts are contributing to this reality. Some people have so much luck in their life that they are said to have been born under a lucky star. All this is great if you are one of these people – life is good!

The problem arises if you are one of the opposites and consider yourself to be a very unlucky person. A string of bad luck is normally very dis empowering and your ‘Personal Power’ may seem like an unattainable dream. How do you shake this state of mind because the very word luck insinuates that it is outside of your control - Bad luck just happens!

Now consider this; luck is a word that humans created to describe some things that happen but have no understandable reason for being so. You may be thinking; “so what has this to do with me?” What if there is no such thing as luck. Instead; we are in charge and control of everything that happens in our life – good and bad. We create everything! This concept is easier to swallow when we look at the good things but it not so palatable when we look at the negatives in our life. This reality can be and usually is very challenging indeed. However; it has the potential to be one of the most empowering realisations that we may ever have.

Once we own that we create everything in our life then we create a state of mind where we can change what we don’t want. This is a whole lot more empowering than staying a victim to forces that seem to be outside our control. The world is full of victims who complain about and blame their employees, their work mates, their parents, spouse, siblings, children. If that is not enough then they turn to blaming their unfortunate situation on the government, life, God or the creator and so the blame game grows. This avoids them from owning the painful reality that MAYBE they are the cause.

Once we own that we created all the negativity in our life then (and only then) we will be able to take charge and change it. Do you want to be in charge of your life and express your personal power?

Do you want to live in a healthy civilisation on a healthy planet?

Do you want to gain greater control of your life, have spiritual and financial wealth, happiness, better relationships and health thus inspire and influence others?  If so; you need to take action.

The state of the world we live in is not very healthy and many people are worried about whether the human race can survive unless we change the way we do things. Who is to blame? The answer to that mainly depends on how we see the world.

Focusing on what's important

I have been watching a current TV series titled ‘Australia - the story of us’. I have been pleasantly surprised at what the research for this program has presented.  This series has been very informative on our history but one aspect that has really opened my eyes is the effect that certain individual people have had. These people had an idea and went about putting it into action.

Seven steps to financial wealth

  1. Define your goal; describe what financial wealth means to you. Include your expectations. Write it down in a form that has clarity with space to easily add more info and comments if necessary.
  2. Plan your journey; break your goal down into smaller steps that will get you there. You need to believe that these steps are achievable. The number of steps is not important but them being achievable is paramount. The primary aim of setting smaller steps is that once one is achieved the reward will help motivate you onwards towards your goal.

How the understanding of the mind helps us create better health, wealth and relationships

There are several descriptions of the mind and its functions found in the dictionary. However; we know that the main function of our mind is to create thoughts and thoughts are the first stage of anything thing we create because ‘thought word and deed’ are the three stages of any creative process.
